JACKSONVILLE – The coordinators are staying.

Offensive coordinator Grant Udinski and defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, key figures in the Jaguars' 13-4 2025 AFC South championship season, have agreed to terms to remain with the team in 2026 after interviewing for NFL head-coaching vacancies in recent weeks. The team confirmed their return Tuesday.

Udinski, 30, interviewed with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills in recent weeks – with Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence late in the season saying Udinski "has been awesome for me."

"He's helped me a lot," Lawrence said.

Campanile, 43, interviewed with the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins – and linebacker Devin Lloyd late in the season praised Campanile's impact on an improved Jaguars defense in 2025.

"He came in passionate, held us to a standard and the standard has always been the standard," Lloyd said.

The Jaguars in 2025 improved dramatically on offense, finishing the season ranked sixth in scoring at 27.9 points per game and 11th in yards at 337.3 per game. They were 26th in scoring at 18.8 points and 25th in yards at 306.2 per game in 2024.

The Jaguars scored at least 23 points in their final 10 games of the regular season, averaging 32.8 points per game. Lawrence set a franchise record with 38 touchdowns – 29 passing, nine rushing – and is a finalist for AP NFL Most Valuable Player and AP Comeback Player of the Year.

"He's really unique," Lawrence said. "I've never really met anyone like him, the way he approaches the preparation process, the attention to detail, the game planning in general, the things that he thinks about, the conversations that we have throughout the whole week. It's a very, very detailed process.

"There are a lot of hands in there that are helping, making it go. But obviously Grant is one of the big factors and he oversees it and he's done a great job really from our conversations back in the spring and his knowledge of the system."

The Jaguars also improved significantly defensively in 2025, leading the NFL in run defense at 85.6 yards allowed per game and not allowing any player to rush for more than 74 yards in a game. The Jaguars allowed 132.6 yards per game rushing in 2024.

The Jaguars also finished second in the NFL in takeaways in 2025 with 31 after registering a league-low nine in 2024. They improved from 31st in the NFL at 389.9 yards per game allowed and 27th in points at 25.58 allowed in 2024 to 11th in yards allowed at 303.64 and eighth in points allowed with 19.8 per game in 2025.

Lloyd called Campanile "a guy that that loves all players."

"He's going to get on you whenever he expects more out of you and he's holding you to that standard and then he's going to lift you up when he sees that you're doing it well," Lloyd said. "He's just a guy that cares about the game. You can see how much he loves the game of football, and that's a beautiful thing to see and that resonates with coaches and players.

"He's come in and done a great job with everybody and we're definitely as a defense and really as a team, grateful for all the things that he's done."

The Jaguars, after a 4-13 season in 2024, in 2025 won their final eight regular-season games to win first AFC South title since 2022. They lost an AFC Wild Card Playoff game at home to the Buffalo Bills, 27-24 on January 11.
