(On his thoughts on why the offense seemed ineffective) "I didn't see anything different. Things don't always go as perfect as you want it to. We're in the early part so we still got some things to connect on and that's what we're going to do; we're just going to keep on working to connect."
(On if he feels the Titans took away the Jaguars productivity on offense) "I don't think they took anything away from us as an offense, it's just that whatever they want to play that's what it is. I don't know the scheme they were playing – I just know my half of the field – but it was all us. I feel like we made mistakes in crucial situations which made it as close as it was."
(On how a close game can leave little margin for error) "That's what I'm saying; it could have been worse. Never knowing what decision we made was wrong, but it was little decisions. Both teams came away with field goals in the end and the defense did a great job. And the offense will have to pick it up for the next game."
(On at what point did he feel today's game would be a slugfest) "From the beginning. We never go into a game thinking a team will just lay down. From the beginning we came out and that's how it was; both teams were going at and we just came up short."
