Jaguars RB Fred Taylor has been named Miller Lite Player of the Week for his performance in the Jaguars' 34-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.
Taylor rushed for 234 yards, the 12th-best rushing performance in NFL history and the most yards ever allowed by the Steelers in a game, and he scored four touchdowns while averaging 7.8 yards a carry.
He will receive a commemorative football on Wednesday during the 11:40 - 12:10 open lockerroom time. The Miller Lite Player of the Week Awards are nominated by a panel of seven national members of the media.
