Leading into the new season and the beginning of Play Football Month, the Jaguars and Jaguars PREP are excited to announce a new program sponsor, Farah & Farah! With the support of Farah & Farah, the PREP program is continued to the commitment of growing the game of football throughout Northeast Florida by removing barriers of accessibility, encouraging health and safety, building strong character amongst participants and enhancing opportunities and resources for youth and high school football athletes.

The Jaguars hit the road this year to Fort Walton Beach for their annual Nike 11-On Tournament! Eleven teams participated in the 7-on-7 tournament and Lineman Challenge with Vanguard High School taking home the championship and Choctawhatchee High School winning the Lineman Challenge title.

On July 11 Jaguars PREP hosted our annual Girls Summer Flag Tournament at Jacksonville University where 17 high school girls flag teams competed. Student-athletes from Northeast Florida, the panhandle and Georgia competed in the free 7v7 flag football tournament and tug-of-war competition. Choctawhatchee High School, Paxon School for Advanced Studies and Valdosta High School will be recognized during the Jaguars Play Football game against the Panthers on August 21.

The Jaguars and Global Leadership Academy (GLA) unveiled a brand-new football field at their ARTS campus thanks in part to a $200,000 grant through the NFL Foundation. The Jaguars celebrated their 20th community field with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an inaugural youth football camp to officially launch the new field. Jaxson, ROAR and 75+ Global Leadership academy students and their families celebrated the new field!

Following the new unveiling of the new community field, the Jaguars and Bakers Sporting Goods annual High School Media Day took place in the Miller Electric Center on July 21. 60 north Florida and southern Georgia teams had the opportunity to speak to local media about their upcoming seasons and take part in professional photos and content opportunities.

That same day, London Jenkins, former Fleming Island stand-out flag football star, 2023 PREP Player of the Year and former Jaguars Elite athlete signed her commitment to attend and play flag football at the University of Nebraska. The Team USA member is joning the Huskers as they were the first Power Four Conference school to announce the addition of women's flag football after it was named an emerging sport by the NCAA. During her signing London was able to address members of all ages from of current Jaguars Elite rosters.

Following High School Media Day and Jenkins commitment, the newest members of the Jaguars Elite Girls flag football teams signed contracts to officially join the program. The athletes had their moment on stage as they signed their contracts, followed by professional photos and giveaways as a congratulations for their hard work and commitment to the program. Jaguars Elite garners top tier talent and is a proven pathway to the NFL FLAG Championships. All four Jaguars Elite girls flag football teams (High School, 14U, 12U and 10U) qualified for the 2026 NFL FLAG Championships.

The Jaguars' 11 teams, including seven Jaguars Elite teams, competed in the 2026 NFL FLAG Championships in Westfield, Indiana, against divisional teams representing other NFL teams ranging from 8U to High School. The Boys', Girls' and Rec teams were all winners in their respective divisions at the Jaguars NFL FLAG Regional in March. The winners competed against the nation's best with worldwide broadcasts of 14U Boys and High School Girls games on ESPN, ABC, Disney, NFL Network and streaming. Last year's Jaguars Elite 14U Boys were crowned national champions after a 7-0 run at the event.
