Jaguars Fueling the Game with Gatorade

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Gatorade are continuing to fuel the game in Northeast Florida.

In March, more than 60 boys tackle football athletes ages 8-14 were gifted with new gear through Gatorade's Equity in Sports Program in which athletes are provided resources, access and opportunity to excel on and off the field. The donated items included helmets, shoulder pads, towels and Gatorade water bottles.

Health, safety and wellness are of utmost priority to the Jaguars and Jaguars PREP, and this equipment donation allows athletes to compete with the highest quality gear. For more than 50 years, Gatorade has been fueling athletes, and the Jaguars are proud to continue the support here in Jacksonville.

"Being able to champion athletes on and off the field as they continue to develop their skills is a goal of our organization," said Adriel Rocha, Jaguars vice president of community impact and football development. "More than 60+ athletes are able to compete at a top level without having to worry about buying new gear or their health and safety while participating."
