Jaguars sign tight end Danny Noble to practice squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed second-year tight end Danny Noble to the practice squad, the club announced. 

Noble, 6-5, 248, was originally signed as a rookie free agent by Tampa Bay in 2012.  He played in the first four games as a rookie before he was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Noble spent three weeks on the club's practice squad in 2013 and was promoted to the active roster on Sept. 21 and waived on Sept. 24.

Noble played collegiately at Toledo where he finished his career with 48 receptions for 555 yards and eight touchdowns.  He attended Elyria High School in Ohio and where he played both offense and defense.  Noble finished with 26 receptions for 506 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior along with 17 tackles for loss and four sacks. 

Noble will wear jersey number 88.
