Thanks to the Champions

Jaguars players Mike Thomas and Marcedes Lewis recently took time to thank over 150 volunteer members of the Jaguars Champions Club. Champions Club members have been calling season ticket holders for the past three months from the press box at Jacksonville Municipal as part of the Jaguars' season ticket renewals campaign.

The Champions – season ticket holders who volunteer to help with the team's season ticket renewal and sales efforts – have made over 30,000 calls to ticket holders since the start of February, helping them to renew their season tickets, provide service and thank fans for their renewal. Their efforts have contributed to the Jaguars reaching the renewal rate of 83% in the General Bowl.

During their calls, the Champions spoke directly to 6,000 season ticket holders and renewed over 1,200 seats. They also influenced an additional 3,400 season ticket holders who called into the Jaguars ticket offices to renew more than 6,000 seats following a call from a Champion, and encouraged 1,100 fans to add more seats or move to the Jaguars' three-year 30/30 Plan.

Champions Club coordinator Scott Thompson said, "It's been a very successful calls campaign and the Champions have done a tremendous job of sharing their enthusiasm and dedication for the Jaguars with all of our season ticket holders."

Since the Champions Club formed in 2005, members have made more than 200,000 calls to ticket holders, volunteering over 40,000 hours of service to help renew an estimated 15,000 seats. In addition, the volunteers have sold over 4,300 new season tickets attending over 200 events in the community to promote Jaguars ticket sales.
