LONDON – This was tough and gritty again, this time with an international flavor.

This one had a heart-stopping flavor, too.

Jaguars kicker Cam Little's 57-yard field goal on the game's final play capped a wild, back-and-forth final eight seconds and gave the Jaguars a 19-17 victory over an equally gutty Philadelphia Eagles team in front of 61,322 Sunday in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Sunday.

Kicker Jake Elliott's 48-yard field goal with :08 remaining gave the Eagles a 17-16 lead, but Jaguars veteran running back Ameer Abdullah returned the ensuing kickoff 53 yards to set up Little's field goal. One second remained after Abdullah's return.

The Jaguars played the final three-plus quarters without long snapper Ross Matiscik, who sustained a first-quarter shoulder injury. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton snapped in Matiscik's absence, including Little's game-winning kick.

Lawrence's 27-yard touchdown pass to Washington on fourth-and-5 gave the Jaguars a 16-14 lead – their first lead of the second half – with 3:20 remaining. The Eagles led by a touchdown at halftime.

The Jaguars (4-1) won a third consecutive game to maintain their early-season lead in the AFC South. The Eagles (2-3) lost a third consecutive game.

Washington's 51-yard touchdown from Lawrence late in the first quarter gave the Jaguars an early touchdown lead, with the Eagles scoring touchdowns on back-to-back possessions – a short run by running back Will Shipley and a long touchdown pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts to wide receiver Darius Cooper – to take a 14-7 lead with just over five minutes remaining in the first half.

The Jaguars drove inside the Eagles 5 without scoring twice – once on the final series of the first half and once midway through the fourth quarter.

The Jaguars drove to the Eagles 1 in the final seconds of the half, with Eagles linebacker Zach Baun stopping Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten for a six-yard loss on fourth-and-goal on the final play of the half.

The Jaguars drove to the Eagles 2 in the fourth quarter, with Lawrence throwing incomplete on fourth-and-goal from the 5.

Lawrence completed 24 of 39 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. Hurts completed 21 of 40 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions.

The Jaguars, who entered Sunday No. 2 in the NFL in scoring defense, registered one sack – shared by safety Antonio Johnson and defensive end Travon Walker. They now have 11 sacks this season.

They forced no turnovers for the first time this season.
