JACKSONVILLE – It is a quick turnaround. The Jaguars are ready.
The AFC South-leading Jaguars (5-2) held their final practice of the week Wednesday at the Miller Electric Center in advance of playing the Baltimore Ravens (4-4) at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., Thursday. Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen spoke to the media before practice, providing key injury updates.
A look at Wednesday around the Jaguars:
1.Running back Bhayshul Tuten and defensive end Travon Walker were listed as questionable on the Jaguars' third and final injury report of the week Wednesday.
Coen said Tuten's game status for Thursday likely will be a game-time decision.
"I talked to him today; he said he feels better," Coen said of Tuten, a second-year veteran who was listed as missing practice for a third consecutive day Wednesday with a foot/ankle injury. "I would think it's probably going to go up to game time."
Tuten leads the Jaguars in scrimmage yards through seven regular-season games, rushing for 492 yards on 110 carries (4.5 yards per carry) with three touchdowns and catching 15 passes for 181 yards with three touchdowns. Tuten ranks sixth in the AFC with six touchdowns, and eighth in scrimmage yards (673) and rushing yards. His 13 total scores since last season are third in the NFL among the 2025 draft class, while his eight rushing touchdowns are tied for fifth among the '25 draft class.
Jaguars running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. has rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries this season, with running back Ameer Abdullah rushing for 58 yards on 16 carries and running back LeQuint Allen Jr. rushing once for one yard. The Jaguars also have undrafted rookie running back J'Mari Taylor on the practice squad.

2.Safety Antonio Johnsonwas listed on Wednesday's injury report without game status and is therefore expected to be available to play Thursday. Johnson missed a 42-7 victory over the Colts last Sunday with an ankle injury.
Walker (rib) and Tuten were the only two players listed as questionable on the injury report, with the following players listed without game status: Guard Ezra Cleveland (knee/ankle), linebacker Branson Combs (shoulder), Johnson, cornerback Jarrian Jones (ankle), wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (hamstring/ankle) and Rodriguez (hand).
3.Coen likes how the Jaguars have attacked the short week.
"These guys have handled it really well," Coen said Wednesday. "Everybody in this game is going to be sore, tired, all those things. Mentally, physically, everybody feels the same exact way. Everybody's nicked up and have to go play this game. That's just the way it is. A lot of this is going to be about mental and physical toughness."
Coen added of the week's preparation, "Everything gets a little expedited. Specifically, the previous game review gets a little bit expedited, and that's where I was able to circle back and show some of the stuff from this past weekend's game in my meeting [Wednesday] morning. But a lot of the preparation as soon as Monday starts is all on Baltimore."
4.The Jaguars on Tuesday placed two key defensive starters/leaders – nose tackle DaVon Hamilton (quadriceps) and safety Eric Murray (elbow) – on injured reserve after they sustained season-ending injuries against the Colts.
Coen said replacing leaders such as Hamilton and Murray is about "The whole team, the whole building."
"And I don't mean on Thursday night playing in the game, I mean throughout the week," Coen said. "I challenged them on Monday with everybody just stepping up their week a little bit more. Being a great teammate a little bit more. The energy, a little bit more."
Coen cited rookie draft selections with as defensive tackle Albert Regis and defensive end Wesley Williams as leaders on their college teams who – along with the entire team – must help set the tone.
"A lot of these guys were captains in college, a lot of these guys were leaders on good football teams," Coen said. "We need those guys to not only help us potentially in the games, but also their leadership, their energy, their being great teammates. We need that to show up this week. That was what I challenged the team with, and I think they've responded the right way."
