Brunell, Darius, Craft speak at Father & Kids Day

Over 1,800 parents and children turned out for the Jaguars 4th annual Father and Kids Day event held July 29 at ALLTEL Stadium following the team's afternoon training camp practice.

The free event gives parents and their kids the opportunity to watch a Jaguars practice and hear from players and team staff about the importance of being a good dad. Since 1999 the Jaguars and the Weaver Family Foundation have partnered with Family First, a Tampa-based non-profit organization that promotes the importance of responsible fatherhood and its impact on families and communities.

Quarterback Mark Brunell, strong safety Donovin Darius, and cornerback Jason Craft each shared personal stories about their roles as parents. Jaguars Foundation Chair/CEO Delores Barr Weaver and head coach Tom Coughlin welcomed fans and spoke prior to the players. Play-by-play announcer Brian Sexton, voice of the Jaguars, served as emcee for the day's activities.
