JACKSONVILLE – The ramping up is over.

The Jaguars on Sunday morning practiced for nearly two hours in 87-degree temperatures at the Dream Finders Homes Practice Complex, a practice that marked the final day of the NFL's "ramp-up" period to start 2020 Training Camp.

The Jaguars are scheduled to practice in full pads Monday.

That will mark their first day of full-padded contact work of '20 camp. All NFL teams including the Jaguars began '20 camp through the first two weeks of August with walkthroughs and conditioning – and no full-pad work – because COVID-19 prevented on-field work during the offseason program.

Sunday morning's work featured the Jaguars running 11-on-11, 9-on-7 and 7-on-7 drills for the second time in three days. Players were off Saturday.

Jaguars wide receivers coach Keenan McCardell spoke to the media via videoconference before practice, and veteran wide receiver Chris Conley spoke to the media via videoconference after practice. Coverage of those availabilities can be found later Sunday on jaguars.com and Jaguars media channels.

Head Coach Doug Marrone will speak to the media via videoconference Monday.

Here's a look at Friday's practice:

STANDING OUT

*Second-year quarterback Gardner Minshew looked efficient through practice, particularly during a mid-practice team drill in which he was effective with short- and intermediate passes. Both Friday and Sunday practices featured lengthy team periods, the first the team drills for the Jaguars since last season. …

*Minshew completed two passes to tight end James O'Shaughnessy during the early team drill, with O'Shaughnessy looking strong after being activated off the physically unable to perform list last week; O'Shaughnessy missed the last 11 games of last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. …

*Minshew completed a long pass to veteran wide receiver Chris Conley for a touchdown in an early drill. …

*Minshew also completed quick intermediate passes to wide receivers Dede Westbrook, Keelan Cole and Conley during the mid-practice team drill. …

*Minshew completed impressive passes in the middle of the field to wide receivers DJ Chark Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. in a late-practice team drill. …

*Quarterback Josh Dobbs completed a 20-yard pass to rookie tight end Tyler Davis. …

*Middle linebacker Joe Schobert broke up a pass from Minshew that was nearly an interception in the early team drill. …

*Running back Leonard Fournette continued to look strong, breaking off a long run during a late-team drill and looking strong and quick in his cuts. …

*Reserve running back Devine Ozigbo also continued to look strong. …

*Rookie wide receiver Collin Johnson got behind the defense in the mid-practice team drill but dropped a perfect pass from rookie quarterback Jake Luton.

INJURY WATCH

Rookie linebacker/defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson practiced Sunday after missing three practices late last week because of a minor hamstring issue. Linebacker Quincy Williams remains out with a core muscle injury that Marrone said last week could keep the second-year veteran out for "some time. Defensive lineman Rodney Gunter remains on the active/non-football illness list.

NOTABLE

*Defensive end/linebacker Aaron Lynch missed practice Sunday with an excused personal day. …

*Fullback Bruce Miller practiced for the first time after signing with the team Saturday. …

*Defensive end Yannick Ngakoue remains away from the team, not having signed the franchise tag the team placed on him this past offseason. Having not signed the tag means Ngakoue is not under contract and his absence therefore does not violate NFL rules. Ngakoue can either sign the tag and play for the Jaguars on a one-year deal or not play in the NFL this season. …

*Three players remain on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list: running back Ryquell Armstead, offensive lineman Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms and offensive lineman Ryan Pope. Reserve/COVID-19 is a new reserve category created by the NFL for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. …
