JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars are moving quickly to fill their coaching staff.

And as he makes his hires, new head coach Gus Bradley is filling the top positions with people he knows well.

Jedd Fisch and Bob Babich will be the Jaguars' new offensive and defensive coordinators, the team announced on Saturday, with the moves coming three days after the team announced Bradley as the fourth permanent coach in franchise history. Duration and terms of the deals were undisclosed.

The latest hires both have close ties to Bradley.

Fisch, the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at the University of Miami the past two seasons, served as quarterbacks coach in 2010 with Seattle, where Bradley was the Seahawks' defensive coordinator the past four seasons.

 "There are 32 NFL offensive coordinator jobs and the opportunity to become the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator this year was based on all of the successes our program (at Miami ) has had in the past two years," Fisch said in a statement.

Bradley's ties with Babich went further back. A member of the Chicago Bears' defensive staff the past nine seasons, Babich was the head coach at North Dakota State from 1997-2002.

Bradley served as an assistant under Babich during that time.

Fisch, 37, has 16 years coaching experience, including nine in the NFL. He spent 2009 as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at the University of Minnesota, and was Denver's wide receivers coach in 2008 under head coach Mike Shanahan.

In 2008, Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall made a career-high 104 receptions for 1,265 yards and six touchdowns. Rookie Eddie Royal that season caught 91 passes for 980 yards and five touchdowns for the Broncos.

Fisch spent four seasons under Brian Billick in Baltimore from 2004-07, first as an offensive assistant (2004), then as assistant quarterbacks/wide receivers coach (2005-2006) and finally, as assistant quarterbacks coach (2007). He began his NFL coaching career with Houston, serving three seasons (2001-03) as an assistant under head coach Dom Capers.

Fisch graduated from the University of Florida in 1998, serving two seasons (1999-2000) as a graduate assistant under Steve Spurrier.

Babich, 51, has 29 years of coaching experience, including 10 in the NFL. He was the linebackers coach in six of those seasons and the defensive coordinator three seasons. He began his NFL career as linebackers coach for the St. Louis Rams in 2003.

Babich was 46-22 at North Dakota State with five winning seasons and two NCAA Division II playoff appearances. The Bison were 9-2 in the regular season in 1997 and 12-1 in 2000, reaching the national semifinals.

Babich also was a collegiate assistant at Tulsa (1984-87, 1990), Wisconsin (1988-89), Bowling Green State (1991), East Carolina (1992-93) and Pittsburgh (1994-96).

A native of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Babich played two seasons at Mesa Community College before transferring to the University of Tulsa for his final two seasons.

Also, former Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker will be the defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears, with former quarterbacks coach/assistant head coach Greg Olson reportedly becoming offensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders.

Former Jaguars special teams coordinator John Bonamego has taken the same position with the Detroit Lions.
