Only Sunday afternoon games are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, in which case the tentatively scheduled Sunday night game would be moved to a Sunday afternoon.

Flexible scheduling will not be applied to games airing on Thursday or Monday nights.

In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET and 8:15 p.m. ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1:00 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET) and one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 p.m. ET). KICKING OFF IN CANTON:The Jaguars will kick off the NFL preseason against the Las Vegas Raiders on August 4 in Canton, Ohio at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Two days later, Jaguars legend Tony Boselli will become the first in franchise history to be honored with enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Bosellli, the team's first-ever draft selection who started 90 of 91 career games for the Jaguars and was a five-time Pro Bowl selection, will be honored throughout the weekend.

The matchup will also feature the coaching debuts for both Raiders Head Coach Josh McDaniels and Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson with their new respective teams.

This season will mark the second time the Jaguars have ever played in the Hall of Fame Game as Jacksonville first played in the contest in 1995 against the Carolina Panthers to kick off the two teams' inaugural seasons in the NFL.

Jacksonville will round out their preseason slate with the Browns and Steelers coming to TIAA Bank prior to concluding at Atlanta.

MILES TRAVELED: The Jaguars will travel 25,534 miles during the 2022 season, the third-most miles traveled by any NFL team, according to Bill Speros of the Boston Herald. The team's trip to London is the longest of the season (4,250) followed by Los Angeles (2,153).

The Jaguars will be on the road for three of their first four regular season games.

DOUG'S DEBUT:Coach Pederson will make his Jaguars regular season head coaching debut at the Washington Commanders in Week 1 on September 11. The season opener marks Jacksonville's fourth time playing at Washington in franchise history and its first time opening the season against the Commanders. It will be the Jaguars' first time opening on the road against an NFC opponent since 2018 when they defeated the New York Giants, 20-15.

Pederson accumulated a 6-4 record against the Commanders in his five seasons as head coach in Philadelphia (2016-20) and posted a 3-2 record at FedEx Field. With a victory, he would become the second head coach in franchise history (Doug Marrone) to win their first game with the team.

Pederson went 4-1 in season openers in his five seasons as head coach of the Eagles, including two victories against the Commanders on Kickoff Weekend.

BACK AT THE BANK: The Jaguars will open their divisional play with a Week 2 tilt against the Colts in the team's home opener on September 18. Jacksonville has defeated Indianapolis in seven straight home contests, including a 26-11 victory in their most recent game at TIAA Bank Field on Jan. 9, 2022. The Jaguars have played their home opener against the Colts three times in franchise history, most recently in 2020 when they posted a 27-20 victory against Indianapolis.

Jacksonville will complete their season series against the Colts in Indianapolis in Week 6, marking the earliest the two teams have completed their season series since the AFC South was formed in 2002.

FAMILIAR FOES: The Jaguars will face off against the Texans in Week 5 and Week 17 and the Titans in Week 14 and Week 18. The Jaguars have played the two teams a combined 94 times in franchise history.

Week 14 marks the latest first-game matchup in a season between the Jaguars and Titans in series history.

The Jaguars are 8-0 in home games that conclude their regular season. Since the franchise's inception in 1995, they are the only team in the NFL to be undefeated in all Week 17 and Week 18 home contests.

RETURN TO PHILLY: Head Coach Doug Pederson will return to Lincoln Financial Field in Week 4 for the first time since he served as the head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2016-20. While with the Eagles, Pederson posted a 42-37 record in the regular season and 4-2 record in the postseason.

Pederson led the Eagles to the Super Bowl LII title with a 41-33 victory against New England, marking the team's first Lombardi Trophy. From 2016-20, Pederson accumulated a 26-13-1 record at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Jaguars have nine coaches, including Coach Pederson, on their 2022 coaching staff who played or coached with Philadelphia.

A GIANT STEP: Jacksonville will welcome the New York Giants to TIAA Bank Field on October 23 for the first time since 2014 and look to remain perfect against the Giants at home.

In three games against the Giants at TIAA Bank Field, the Jaguars outscored the Giants, 91-47. Jacksonville defeated the Giants at TIAA Bank Field, 25-24, on Nov. 30, 2014, in the team's largest comeback in franchise history (21 points) and previously beat the Giants, 40-13, on Sept. 7, 1997, and, 26-10, on Nov. 20, 2006. The Giants are the only team in the NFL to have never beaten the Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field.

Head Coach Doug Pederson has posted an 8-2 record against the Giants, including a 5-0 mark in home games.

LONDON CALLING: The Jaguars will return to London's historic Wembley Stadium in 2022 to play the Denver Broncos in Week 8, marking Jacksonville's league-leading ninth game in the NFL International Series. Of Jacksonville's previous eight appearances in London, seven of them have been at Wembley Stadium.

The Jaguars defeated the Miami Dolphins last year in the U.K. with QB Trevor Lawrence becoming the first rookie quarterback to win a game in London. Lawrence posted the first game-winning drive of his career and threw for 319 yards and one TD.

For just the second time in franchise history, the Jaguars will not have a Bye Week following their London game.

The Jaguars' most recent contest against the Raiders on Dec. 15, 2019 was the last game ever played at Oakland Coliseum with Jacksonville winning in dramatic fashion on a TD reception by WR Chris Conley with 31 seconds remaining.

The Jaguars are 2-1 against the Raiders at home, while Head Coach Doug Pederson is 1-0 against the Raiders as a head coach.

COMING TO THE KINGDOM: Jacksonville travels to Kansas City to face off against the Chiefs in Week 10. The game marks a reunion between Head Coach Doug Pederson and Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid as the two coached together in Kansas City from 2013-15 and Philadelphia from 2009-12. Pederson served as the Chiefs offensive coordinator from 2013-15, helping Kansas City accumulate a 31-17 record during that span.

Week 10 is the Jaguars' 14th game in franchise history against the Chiefs and their seventh game against Kansas City on the road.

BYE, BYE, BYE: The Jaguars will have their Bye Week in Week 11, marking the first time since 2014 the team has had a Bye Week in Week 11 or later.

FLOCK SHOCK: Following the Bye Week, the Jaguars will host the Ravens and 2019 MVP QB Lamar Jackson at TIAA Bank Field on November 27. It marks the first time Jacksonville has played Baltimore as the home team since the Jaguars thrashed the Ravens, 44-7, at Wembley Stadium in 2017.

Jacksonville is 7-3 at home all-time against the Ravens and have outscored Baltimore, 223-142, in home contests.

'BOYS AT THE BANK:The Dallas Cowboys will play at the Bank in Week 15 for the first time since 2014 and just the third time in team history.Dallas is the last NFC East team the Jaguars will face in 2022 as Jacksonville faces the division for the first time since 2018.

The two teams have played each other seven times and the Jaguars have posted a 3-4 record. Coach Pederson has a 3-2 record in home games against Dallas with two straight victories.

THURSDAY NIGHT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: For the fifth straight season and 15th time in franchise history, the Jaguars will play a Thursday Night Game when they travel to MetLife Stadium in Week 16 against the New York Jets.

Week 16 marks the third time in franchise history that the Jaguars have played a Thursday Night Game in Week 16 or later and second time Jacksonville has played in a prime-time game against the Jets. On Oct. 11, 1999, the Jaguars defeated the New York Jets, 16-6, on Monday Night Football.

Coach Pederson is 1-0 against the Jets after defeating New York, 31-6, as head coach for the Eagles.

It also marks the second matchup between the 2021 No. 1 and No. 2 overall draft selections in QB Trevor Lawrence and QB Zach Wilson. Lawrence threw for 280 yards and rushed for 37 in Week 16 against the Jets last year while Wilson threw for 102 yards.
