JACKSONVILLE – Progress is never complete, but it has been made.
The Jaguars have seen plenty of change during 2026 Training Camp, which concluded with a 90-minute light-padded practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Miller Electric Center Wednesday morning. Perhaps no group has changed as much as the offensive line.
A camp that has featured new faces, new combinations and a few key injuries at the position has concluded with the Jaguars consistently working the same group with the first team.
"The progress is certainly exciting," Jaguars Offensive Coordinator Grant Udinski said after practice Wednesday.
The Jaguars for much of the last week have started the same five offensive linemen: Left tackle Anton Harrison, rookie left guard Emmanuel Pregnon, center Robert Hainsey, right guard Ezra Cleveland and right tackle Walker Little. That came after a camp in which the Jaguars – as has been the case the past two offseasons – worked multiple offensive linemen at various positions.
"Having all those guys ready at different positions is really valuable," quarterback Trevor Lawrence said.
Cole Van Lanen, who is expected to work at right tackle upon his return, was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list last week and has worked in individual drills in recent practices. The Jaguars will open the 2026 regular season against the Cleveland Browns on September 13 at EverBank Stadium.
'I don't know that that progress is ever done because it's going to be probably a couple different iterations between now and the beginning of the season or even beginning of the season to the end of the season," Udinski said.
"You're never satisfied, you're never necessarily content with it, but it's really enjoyable to see those guys progress in their communication and chemistry working together – whether it's in the protection game, picking up twist games, or whether it's in the run game identifying different fronts.
"Really excited about the future and outlook of that group."
Pregnon has been among camp's most interesting storylines, with the third-round rookie entering the summer as a backup. Pregnon has worked with the starters in each practice recently – including the final joint practices over the last week with the Carolina Panthers and the Buccaneers.
"He has done an awesome job," Lawrence said of Pregnon. "He plays hard, he's huge, he's strong, you can tell he cares. That's the first thing you notice.
"Then mentally, it has not been too much for him. Obviously, he is a rookie and there's still a lot to learn and there are looks every day that you can teach off of, but he's not lost at all. He knows what he's doing. There are a lot of plays we can clean up, but as far as knowing what he's doing and playing hard, he's got that down. I think he's protected well. He's been moving people in the run game. He's athletic.
"He's done an awesome job, so I think we got a bunch of guys up front that can play and play well and I love what I'm seeing from E-man."

PLAY OF THE DAY
Rookie wide receiver Josh Cameron has been a popular feature in "Play of the Day" in '26 camp, so it was fitting he closed camp with a stellar play. Cameron made the most explosive play from either team's offense during 7-on-7 drills Wednesday, catching a deep pass from Lawrence down the right sideline after attacking the ball in the air and beating Buccaneers cornerback Zyon McCollum at the catch point. Cameron drew a defensive pass interference flag on McCollum on the play. Cameron showed off his vertical skills all camp, and Wednesday's play just may have been his best yet.
STANDING OUT
- Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. went through individual periods during Wednesday's practice wearing a red non-contact jersey. He did not take any reps with the offense in the 7-on-7 drills against the Buccaneers' defense.
- Jaguars backup quarterback Nick Mullens threw touchdown passes in the red zone to undrafted rookie wide receiver Trebor Peña and tight end Quintin Morris.
- Recording pass breakups for the defense against the Buccaneers' offense in 7-on-7 drills: cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, safety Caleb Ransaw and linebacker Jalen McLeod.
