JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars' equipment staff has been named AFC Equipment Staff of the Year by New Era for their work during the 2025 season.
"Our equipment team puts in countless hours to make sure that we as an organization are prepared for practices and games," said Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tony Boselli. "It's a selfless role but one that we very much appreciate, and their recognition as AFC Equipment Staff of the Year is extremely well deserved."
The team is led by Head Equipment Manager George Pellicer, with support from assistant equipment managers Kyle Stillwell, Tyler Floyd and Collin Peterson. Pellicer has been with the Jaguars organization since 2003 and will enter his fifth season as head equipment manager in 2026. Stillwell, Floyd and Peterson will enter their 14th, 10th and seventh seasons with the team, respectively. Jacksonville's equipment staff also won the award in 2017.
"There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to execute an NFL season, and my staff takes pride in mastering those details so our players and coaches can stay focused on the game," said Pellicer. "We are grateful that our hard work has been recognized and honored to be named the best equipment team in the AFC."
Jacksonville's AFC Equipment Staff of the Year award marks the third time that Jaguars staffers have been recognized for their outstanding work in 2025. The Jaguars' athletic training staff was named PFATS Staff of the Year, and the team's strength and conditioning and performance science staffs were named PFPCA Alvin Roy NFL Performance Team of the Year.
