The Jaguars Prep program is living up to its mission statement, in a big way. That statement begins with the goal of growing the game of football and ends with a commitment to building strong character and enhancing opportunities and resources for youth and high school football athletes.

Over three days in June, Jaguars PREP hosted more than 1,000 high school football athletes from northeast Florida and southeast Georgia at EverBank Stadium for a series of Nike 11-On tournaments.

Day one featured the rapidly expanding universe of girl's flag football, one of the fastest growing sports in Florida and across the country. 12 teams and more than 360 girls took to the fields for drills and challenges that improved their skills and developed team building concepts. Jaguars linebacker Chad Muma and defensive lineman De'Shaan Dixon spent the day coaching and sharing stories with the players as they moved from station to station. Ridgeview High from Clay County in Florida took home the Tug of War Trophy while Choctaw High from Fort Walton Beach triumphed over Southeast Bulloch High School from Georgia in the tournament championship game.

12 Girls Flag teams and over 360 female athletes from northeast Florida and south Georgia came to EverBank Stadium to compete in their first ever Girls Flag Nike 11-On tournament. Jaguars LB Chad Muma and OLB De'Shaan Dixon came out to support these athletes and share some tips. Congratulations to Ridgeview who won the Tug of War Challenge and Choctaw who won the 2023 Nike 11-On tournament.

Day two brought more than 300 boys to the fields and a few more current Jaguars out to share some tips and spend some time with the next generation of football players. Linebacker Foye Oluokun who led the NFL in tackles in 2022 was on hand along with Dixon, offensive lineman Tyler Shatley and linebacker Dequan Jackson. Dequan Jackson was on the sidelines cheering on his high school alma mater, Riverside High School. Brunswick High from southeast Georgia took full advantage of their time with Shatley and used it to take home the Lineman Challenge but it was local powerhouse Trinity Christian that came away with the tournament championship trophy thanks to their 28-14 win over Brunswick.

10 teams and 300+ athletes from northeast Florida and south Georgia came ready to compete at the 2023 Nike 11-On tournament. Jaguars players Foye Oluokun, De'Shaan Dixion, Tyler Shatley and Dequan Jackson joined in to challenge, teach and help inspire these talented athletes. Congratulations to Brunswick who won the Lineman Challenge and Trinity Christian who won the Nike 11-On tournament

The biggest crowds showed up on the final day of competition with more than 16 teams and nearly 500 athletes on hand. Oluokun was back for more along with rookie offensive lineman Cooper Hodges who played high school football just down I-10 in Baker County. Oakleaf High, a rising power in northeast Florida and the alma mater of Jaguars linebacker Shaq Quarterman walked off the field with the Lineman Challenge and Lowndes County High from Georgia took the tournament title from Vanguard by a 23-12 score.

16 teams and over 475 athletes from northeast Florida and south Georgia came to EverBank Stadium to compete in Day 3 of the Nike 11-On tournament. Jaguars Foye Oluokun and Cooper Hodges were on site to run some drills and share some tips. Congratulations to Oakleaf who won the Lineman Challenge and Lowndes who won the 2023 Nike 11-On tournament.

Three days. Six professional football players. 38 high school teams. More than 1,000 football players and one more on the calendar as Jaguars PREP heads to the panhandle of Florida for a July 20th Nike 11-On tournament in Fort Walton Beach. Jaguars PREP continues expand its reach to more youth football athletes across the region and elevate the game by providing opportunities and resources for boys and girls to challenge themselves to be their best and take their game to the next level.
