The Jaguars have signed wide receiver Chris Jackson, an undrafted free agent from Millsaps College who went to training camp with the Steelers.

Jackson, 6-2, 205, caught 65 passes for 693 yards and nine touchdowns last season at Millsaps. He had a long-gain reception of 71 yards. He also returned 17 punts for 264 yards and two touchdowns, with a long return of 67 yards, and 25 kickoffs for 568 yards and a 99-yard touchdown.

The Steelers waived Jackson on July 30 and he was signed by the Saints on Aug. 3 and waived four days later. He was one of four wide receivers the Jaguars worked out on Thursday morning.

In other news, the Jaguars have released punter Eric Wilbur, who the team had signed on Wednesday.
