Jaguars support military

Jaguars players continued to show support for our armed forces by making two military site visits over the weekend. Linebacker Deon Humphrey and tight end/ long snapper Joe Zelenka attended the HS-15 Squadron's Pre-Deployment Picnic at Metropolitan Park on Friday. The picnic was organized for families whose loved ones will be deployed overseas in the next couple of weeks. The players chatted with guests, posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans. Members of the ROAR were on hand signing autographs and Chair/ CEO of the Jaguars Foundation Delores Barr Weaver addressed the crowd and helped distribute door and raffle prizes.

On Sunday, Jaguars players Jeff Chandler, Chris Hanson, Jimmy Redmond and Joe Zelenka took part in the 125th Fighter Wing's Family Day event held near Jacksonville International Airport. Players and guests toured the hangar featuring an F-15 fighter jet and got up close and personal with several tools used by our military, including a bomb-defusing robot and M-16 rifles. Players met and mingled with members of the armed forces and their families, signed autographs and posed for pictures. Team mascot Jaxson de Ville was also on hand posing for photos and signing autographs.
