Jaguars welcome Andrew Jackson High School students back to school

Members of The ROAR of the Jaguars Cheerleaders along with Jaguars staff rose early Monday to welcome the students of Andrew Jackson High School on their first day of school.  Jaguars staff also assisted at Freshman Orientation last week.  Arriving students wore their student ID's on lanyards donated by the Jaguars, and the Jaguars also donated notebooks for the school's AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program.

The presence at the school is part of the Jaguars partnership with Andrew Jackson High School.*  *As a corporate partner, the team is making a significant investment in the students at the school.  Earlier in the year, Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri spoke to the students at college night about the importance of furthering their education.

Through the support of the Jaguars team owner, coaches, players and staff, along with other community and corporate partners, the goal is to return Andrew Jackson High School to its tradition of excellence.  Jaguars players, coaches, cheerleaders and staff will be participating in various events at the school throughout the year.
