Moms Football Safety Clinic

The Jacksonville Jaguars, in partnership with USA Heads Up Football, is hosting a moms football safety clinic at EverBank Field on October 21, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.  This is a MOMS ONLY event.  The first 250 moms that register will have the opportunity to hear from medical experts and Jaguars training staff and also get onto the Florida Blue Practice Field to learn USA Football's Heads Up Tackling techniques. They will do this all while engaging with other moms on issues of mutual interest regarding youth sports safety.

The free clinic will include education on proper equipment fitting; concussion awareness; heat and hydration; and USA Football's Heads Up Football program.  As part of the event, moms in attendance will practice Heads Up Tackling and other football-related drills on the Florida Blue Practice Field. The event is one of a series of football safety clinics for moms.  Moms should wear athletic attire.

In addition toMichaela Bradley, Jaguars representatives will include Jaguars Assistant Athletic Trainer Rod Scott, Jaguars Head Equipment Manager Jimmy Luck, and USA Football Heads Up Master Trainer Darrell Sutherland.
