JACKSONVILLE – Two high-profile Jaguars situations became official Wednesday.

Yannick Ngakoue, a fourth-year veteran defensive end whose contract situation has been prominent news in recent weeks, was placed on the Jaguars' reserve/did not report list. Telvin Smith, a sixth-year linebacker who announced in May he did not plan to play in 2019, was placed on the team's reserve/retired list.

The roster designations came on the day veterans reported for Jaguars 2019 Training Camp, which will open Thursday morning at the Dream Finders Homes Practice Complex adjacent to TIAA Bank Field. Both players were Pro Bowl selections following the 2017 season.

The Jaguars now have 88 players on their 90-man active roster.
