JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars on Thursday practiced at the Miller Electric Center.
The Jaguars (7-4) will play the Tennessee Titans (1-10) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday in a 2025 Week 13 game. A look at Thursday around the Jaguars – with Offensive Coordinator Grant Udinski and Defensive Coordinator Anthony Campanile speaking to the media before practice:
Stopping the run is Priority No. 1.
"That's something that is very important to us," Campanile said.
That priority has yielded results this season for Campanile and the Jaguars' defense, which not only is ranked No. 1 in the NFL in run defense through 11 games but also has performed well in multiple key statistical categories in the area.
"We kind of hold sacred in our room making sure that we're doing a good job of that," Campanile said. "When we're not, it's not good enough, it's not acceptable. The guys have taken to that, to not stay blocked and do your job, do your 1/11th but then go do some more.
"Go find a way to get to the football."
The Jaguars lead the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed at 83.8 yards per game, and they are tied for fifth fewest yards per carry allowed at 3.9. They also have allowed seven rushing touchdowns, tied for fourth-fewest allowed in the NFL this season.
"If you're stopping the run, you're making people one-dimensional and that's important," Campanile said. "There's an emotional high that comes from big plays in the pass game, but there's a physical high that comes from being able to run the ball on somebody. I don't think there's a more helpless feeling in football than somebody being able to run the ball and kick your ass down the field." …
The Jaguars on Thursday released the second of three injury reports for the week, with wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. practicing full after practicing limited with an ankle injury Wednesday.
Thomas has missed the last three games with the injury.
Defensive end Travon Walker missed practice a second consecutive day with a knee injury. Offensive lineman Chuma Edoga (calf) and starting right guard Patrick Mekari (concussion) missed practiced a second consecutive day, with defensive end Danny Striggow (knee) practicing limited after missing practice Wednesday.

Walker missed this past Sunday with the injury, with Edoga, Mekari and Striggow sustaining their injuries in that game.
Five Jaguars players were listed as limited for a second consecutive day Thursday: Linebacker Yasir Abdullah (finger), cornerback Christian Braswell (hamstring), cornerback Jarrian Jones (quadriceps), cornerback Eric Murray (neck) and safety Antonio Johnson (elbow). The Jaguars on Wednesday opened Murray's 21-day window to return from injured reserve.
Defensive tackle Arik Armstead (hand) was added to the report as practicing limited Thursday.
Starting nickel corner Jourdan Lewis (neck) practiced full a second consecutive day after missing the last three games, with tight end Hunter Long (knee) practicing full a second consecutive day after missing the last three games and starting right tackle Anton Harrison (knee/ankle) practicing full a second consecutive day after missing the last two games.
"I want to get out there and play healthy and show I can be dominant," Lewis said.
Udinski on Thursday praised quarterback Trevor Lawrence's resilience this season, with Lawrence this past Sunday in a 24-27 overtime victory over the Arizona Cardinals throwing 3 touchdowns in a game in which he also threw 3 interceptions and lost a fumble.
Lawrence in that game threw touchdowns on the drives following 2 of his 3 interceptions and led a field-goal drive on the possession following his lost fumble.
"You see the resilience to go from one drive to the next drive, to know we can make mistakes and still overcome that," Udinksi said. "Not that we would ever want to do that, but there is an element of doubt sometimes for certain players when they make mistakes and say, 'Even if I play well, can I play well enough to overcome that?'
"To be able to do your job at a high level and know that is enough to overcome a mistake in a game, that's freeing moving forward to say, 'I can go play fast and I don't want to make mistakes, we've got to be better about protecting the ball, but if I do, we can play well enough to overcome those things,' which is huge." …

Christian Braswell, after playing four snaps through nine games of the 2025 season, has played 40 and 56 snaps in the last two games.
The Jaguars the victory over the Cardinals with Braswell and Montaric Brown at corner. Neither Brown nor Braswell played a snap in Week 1, with Brown having played at least 96 percent of defensive snaps in each of the last five games.
"They did an amazing job," Lewis said. "There was no drop off at all. They made plays when we needed them. They hung on when they needed big plays. Without those guys, I don't know where we'd be. We have guys on the back end that can play with anybody."
Braswell has a pass defensed in each of the last two games, and Brown has six passed defensed with an interception while starting the last six games.
"Having those guys in there and playing a bunch, it gives you a shot in the arm going down a stretch because real football starts at Thanksgiving in this league," Campanile said. "That's kind of an age-old saying in the NFL, but you're getting down to the nitty gritty here and we got to be at our best.
"You want guys who've played and they've been seasoned; they've been battle-tested." …
