Tight End Josiah Deguara Signs Deal with Jacksonville Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars continue getting deeper.

On Thursday, they added veteran depth to an already strong offensive position.

Josiah Deguara, a veteran tight end who spent his first four NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers, has signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent. The team announced the signing on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Deguara, a third-round selection from Cincinnati by the Packers in the 2020 NFL Draft, started 10 of 58 games played the past four seasons and has missed just three games the past three seasons. He has 47 career receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns, including eight receptions for 65 yards in 15 games last season.

The Jaguars now have five tight ends on the roster: Deguara, 2023 Pro Bowl selection Evan Engram, Brenton Strange, Luke Farrell and Josh Pederson.
