JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars on Wednesday practiced at the Miller Electric Center.
The Jaguars (8-4) will play the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville Sunday in a 2025 Week 14 game. A look at Wednesday around the Jaguars – with Head Coach Liam Coen speaking to the media before practice and quarterback Trevor Lawrence speaking to the media after practice:
The Jaguars on Wednesday issued the first of three injury reports for the week, with starting wide receiver Parker Washington and starting safety Andrew Wingard among multiple players missing practice Wednesday.
Wingard missed with a concussion and Washington missed with a hip injury sustained in a 25-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday.
Also missing practice for the Jaguars Wednesday: Starting defensive end Travon Walker (knee) and starting left tackle Walker Little (concussion), with Walker missing the last two games and Little leaving the victory over the Titans just before halftime.
Eight Jaguars players were limited in practice Wednesday: Offensive lineman Chuma Edoga (calf), starting right guard Patrick Mekari (concussion), starting defensive tackle Arik Armstead (hand), defensive end Danny Striggow (knee), starting linebacker Devin Lloyd (chest), starting linebacker Foye Oluokun (chest), punter Logan Cooke (shoulder) and long snapper Ross Matiscik (back).

Striggow in 6 games has 9 tackles with .5 sacks and three pressures, playing a season-high 28 and 26 snaps the last two games. Green in 9 games has 5 tackles with a sack negated for a roughing-the-passer penalty, playing a season-high 15 snaps in each of the last two games.
"They've been huge sparks for us," Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen said. "If you look at how Danny plays the run, it looks like he has been in the league a couple of years. Even with the brace, he hasn't slowed down. And B.J., he gives us a spark every time he's on the field.
"Those guys are playing real huge for us." …
The Jaguars have won 10 consecutive home games against the Colts, with nine of those victories coming in Jacksonville and one – a 30-27 victory over the Colts in 2016 – coming at Wembley Stadium in London.
The streak began with the Jaguars' 51-16 victory over the Colts in December 2015, with the Jaguars winning last season's meeting in Jacksonville, 37-34 in October.
"Every year is a new year," Coen said. "Every team's a new team and I think we understand that we're different. Everything's new and different and every year is different.
"You can hold onto that as something in your back pocket as a player, but ultimately we have to go beat the Colts, this year's Colts and this team on Sunday and hopefully our crowd and fan base is a big part of that."
Said Lawrence, "It's a new year. They might be using that as fuel. I'm sure they are. We can't hang our hats on something that this team hasn't done. This Jags team hasn't beat this Colts team here at home in 2025. You can't really rely on the past. You've got to go do it this year." …
The Jaguars through 12 games rank 14th in the NFL in red-zone touchdown percentage, scoring touchdowns on 59.09% possessions inside the opponent's 20-yard line. They have scored touchdowns on 76.92% percent of such possessions.
They scored on 2 of 2 red-zone possessions in a 25-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans Sunday, with Coen crediting the success to "just more shots on goal, being down there more."
"You get a little antsy and want to throw it in quickly," Coen said. "Just trying to remain patient as you get down into the red zone and making sure that you come away with points is the biggest thing.
"Our coaching staff's done a nice job of kind of tightening the red zone-plan each week so that we can continue to use carry over plays from the plan but also have a few red-zone specific plays based on how the defense changes and what yard line it changes at."
Said Lawrence, "We've just been playing better offensively. All year I think we've gotten better every week and it's not always straight up every week. We've had a couple bumps in the road, but I think offensively we've just gotten better every week." …
