JACKSONVILLE – Jaguars 2026 Training Camp continued Sunday.
It was the 10th day of the second training camp under Head Coach Liam Coen, featuring an hour, 45-minute practice in light pads and helmets at the Miller Electric Center. Each day throughout camp, members of Jaguars Media – senior writer John Oehser, senior correspondent Brian Sexton, team reporter Kainani Stevens and correspondent John Shipley – will share an observation.

- Parker Washington's impressive '26 camp continued Sunday. Travis Hunter's camp got more impressive, too. Washington, the fourth-year wide receiver who has been the day's standout player as often as not in '26 camp, turned in what was perhaps the play of the day Sunday with a deep reception from quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
That was a highlight on a very good day for Lawrence and the receivers, with Lawrence continuing to show good chemistry and timing with third-year wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. – the latter of whom also had a standout day. Hunter, the No. 2 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft who is practicing extensively at corner and receiver, made a leaping interception off a pass from Lawrence to Washington near the goal line. Safety Eric Murray also had a nice interception, with safeties Antonio Johnson and Jalen Huskey also standing out. One other note: The offensive line continues to deal with health issues. With Emmanuel Pregnon, Patrick Mekari, Chuma Edoga and Walker Little out of practice, center Jonah Monheim continued to work at guard and guard Wyatt Milum continued to work at tackle. Training camp is often about adapting, and the Jaguars are in adapting mode on the offensive line.

- The Jaguars' tight end room has never been this good. The obvious combination of veteran Brenton Strange and rookies Nate Boerkircher and Tanner Koziol is enticing enough. But don't overlook veteran Quintin Morris, who can be lethal in the run game and is one of the team's best special teams players, and Patrick Herbert – who spent last season on the practice squad – is quietly having a really good camp. The only other time the Jaguars had a similar collection of talent at that position was in 2006 with Kyle Brady and Marcedes Lewis. We know Strange's importance to everything the offense does, and we have heard about more tight end formations this season. Watching Boerkircher on Sunday was like watching a young version of Strange: One repetition he's clearing the way for the running back, and the next he's running a drag route and catching a first down. Koziol's height, quickness and length have helped him repeatedly make plays in camp. He's also a willing blocker who is working on improving his technique; he might end up being the hidden gem of the 2026 draft class. It's going to be fun to watch this group in the preseason and get a feel for how Head Coach Liam Coen and offensive coordinator Grant Udinksi are going to deploy the tight ends in the fall.

- The Jaguars' tenth practice day was almost two hours on a steamy Sunday. Fans were impressed with some flashes from the offense, with Lawrence and Washington remaining in sync and connecting for a long touchdown during team drills. Lawrence after practice said their relationship allows them to find consistent success and not overreact if there is an occasional miscommunication on a play. Veteran Austin Trammell also had a good day at wide receiver and is currently the "next man up" for punt returns behind Washington. It will be an interesting competition between Trammell and rookie Josh Cameron for that role if the coaches move Washington from special teams. The players have a day off Monday and then are back in pads for practice on Tuesday.

- It was another practice highlighted by the connection between Lawrence and Washington, which has become the norm at '26 camp thus far. Lawrence and Washington worked on a downfield repetition at the start of practice that Lawrence said they did not get exactly right, but it prepared them for the live look. Once that look came around, Lawrence uncorked a deep ball that Washington was able to run under for the biggest play of the day. It was a day of plenty of back-and-forth between the offense and defense otherwise, with Murray recording his third interception of training camp and safety Rayuan Lane III picking up a fumble that he forced from rookie running back J'Mari Taylor.
It was a good day of work before the Jaguars' off day, which will be followed up by Tuesday's practice and a Wednesday walkthrough before they travel to New Orleans.
