JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars on Thursday practiced at the Miller Electric Center.
The Jaguars (12-4) will play the Tennessee Titans (3-13) at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville Sunday in a 2025 Week 18 game. A look at Thursday around the Jaguars – with Head Coach Liam Coen, defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile and offensive coordinator Grant Udinski speaking to the media for before practice:
Coen hasn't talked about goals much this season. But he's not avoiding the topic of what can be attained this week.
"We've definitely mentioned what's at stake this game, for sure," he said.
The Jaguars can clinch a second AFC South title in four seasons – their third in franchise history – with a victory or tie Sunday. They also can clinch the South if the second-place Houston Texans (11-5) lose or tie against the Indianapolis Colts in Houston, with both Jaguars-Titans and Texans-Colts beginning at 1 p.m.
"The message to the players was going 1-0 this week," Coen said. "There's a hat and a T-Shirt that comes along with that, but at the end of the day this is about going 1-0 against a team that is going to be extremely ready to play, physical."
The Jaguars have won six of the past seven games against the Titans, including a 25-3 victory in Nashville in Week 13.
"It was a back-and-forth kind of gritty game the last time we played in Tennessee," Coen said. "We do have more football left, but that's not what the focus and mentality is right now. You're really focused on the daily, hourly, game-by-game improvement. That's all we can really focus on right now.
"That has been the message, is 'Hey, let's get our best, effort, mindset, execution, preparation, all of that, this week to go 1-0.' It's a division opponent, a team that obviously doesn't probably like us too much and that's just the way it goes in division, that's just the way those games go.
"You're excited about these opportunities to play meaningful games in January and December."

The Jaguars host the Tennessee Titans in Week 18 at EverBank Stadium. The team will close out the regular season in their Prowler throwback uniforms.
Campanile on Thursday had high praise for nickel corner Jarrian Jones, who has three interceptions this season – including one in the fourth quarter in each of the last two games. Jones, a third-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, has played extensively throughout the season – and has been increasingly key in the nickel position after Jourdan Lewis sustained a season-ending foot injury in a Week 16 victory over the Denver Broncos.
"I've had a great time watching him grow into what he is right now," Campanile said of Jones. "He's only getting better and he is constantly progressing. He's front row, he's asking great questions, he's taking notes. Jourdan was a great example for him and a great resource for him.
"Since Jourdan has been here, I just see Jarrian in his own way doing extra. When they're not within the timeframe of when they're on the practice field with us, they're doing extra away from here together or away from us together, which I think has been a huge help for him."

The Jaguars on Thursday released the second of three injury reports for the week, with starting right guard Patrick Mekari missing practice for a second consecutive day with a back injury.
Mekari missed a victory over the Colts Sunday with the injury, with Walker Little starting at right guard in his place.
Rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten practiced full for a second consecutive day Thursday after missing the past two games with a finger injury. Three other players also were listed as practicing full Thursday: Right tackle Anton Harrison (illness), defensive tackle Arik Armstead (hand) and linebacker Yasir Abdullah (back).
Six players were listed as practicing limited Thursday: Starting right guard Ezra Cleveland (shoulder), starting center Robert Hainsey (groin), rookie defensive end Danny Striggow (ankle), rookie linebacker Jalen McLeod (ankle), starting cornerback Montaric Brown (shoulder) and starting cornerback Greg Newsome II (shoulder). The Jaguars opened McLeod's 21-day window to return from injured reserve two weeks ago.
Center Jonah Monheim made his second start of the season for Hainsey against the Colts Sunday, with Udinski on Thursday calling the rookie seventh-round selection's impact "huge."
"Not only out there on the field being able to step in, but even in the meeting rooms, in the classroom, in the walkthroughs … his communication, his preparation is phenomenal," Udinski said. "He's the same guy every week, every day, consistent, diligent, hardworking. Not only preparation, but his effort and strain and physicality and finish out there on the field.
"Probably can't say enough good things about Jonah. I know I feel that way. I believe the guys feel that way playing with him. The communication was still at our standard, trying to get everyone on the same page. Of course we have things we can improve here and there, but for him to be able to handle that as a rookie is really impressive."
