JACKSONVILLE – The chemistry and production continue to grow.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence continued to build connections with his top targets during Day 10 of 2026 Training Camp Sunday at the Miller Electric Center. Among those topic targets: Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who continued a strong and encouraging camp Sunday.

The pair was a major Jaguars offseason storyline. They're a camp storyline, too.

"Every day you can see it show up," Lawrence said of his budding chemistry with Thomas.

The duo has worked to improve chemistry since the offseason, with positive results. Thomas and Lawrence connected on multiple plays Sunday morning, including several successful one-on-one red-zone repetitions.

"The good thing is the dialogue between me and him has been the best it has been since we've been together," Lawrence said of Thomas, a first-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft and a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie.

Lawrence said he and Thomas speak often on the sidelines between plays.

"So much good feedback from him and figuring out what he's thinking when he's running these routes and how he wants to win on the defensive back on certain routes," he said. "We're growing every day and just really happy with how far we've come along with our connection and chemistry."

Said offensive coordinator Grant Udinski, "Progress is never going to be a straight line, but you see the route tree continuing to develop the chemistry, the timing, and the understanding of the quarterback and receiver – whether it's the quarterback knowing the receiver's going to win on a certain route a certain way, or the receiver knowing the quarterback is going to put a ball on a certain location versus a certain look.

"When you have that down, and you don't need to think about it, and you don't need to communicate verbally, pre-snap every single play based on a look, that increases your chance of execution significantly.

"You see that at times out there. It's certainly something we're going to continue to work on, but it's been exciting to see it come to fruition when it has."

Also connecting with Lawrence for big plays on Sunday: Fourth-year Parker Washington, who made the day's biggest catch on a pass from Lawrence down the right sideline. Lawrence and his top weapons have consistently turned in strong repetitions throughout camp, a sign of an offense that is taking steps forward after increased time together.

The defense had its share of plays Sunday, with safeties Eric Murray and Rayuan Lane III recording an interception and a forced fumble/fumble recovery, respectively.

PLAY OF THE DAY

Washington again made the day's biggest play, and Sunday's big play was one his best in '26 camp to date. He got behind the third level of the defense and perfectly tracked a deep pass from Lawrence, with Lawrence saying the two worked on the play shortly beforehand. "We threw it in 'routes on air' right before it," Lawrence said after practice. "I told him, 'Hey, hold this angle. I'm going to throw out there.' I kind of missed the throw a little bit and he went and made a good catch on the sideline and then we got the same exact rep in team. He ran it the same exact way and I gave him a good throw where could run under it, so it's just little things like that where he's just really dependable."

STANDING OUT

*Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was a tough cover for the Jaguars' defense in one-on-one drills Sunday. He caught a touchdown on each of his three targets from Lawrence, including a nifty reception in the back of the end zone.

*Veteran linebacker Dennis Gardeck recorded a sack on Lawrence during team drills. Also applying consistent pressure for the Jaguars in team drills: Ends Travon Walker and Danny Striggow.

INJURY WATCH

Offensive line continues to be an area to watch, with four players from the unit – Walker Little, Chuma Edoga, Emmanuel Pregnon and Patrick Mekari – not participating Sunday. Rookie defensive end Zach Durfee and veteran tight end Quintin Morris also did not participate Sunday. Left tackle Cole Van Lanen (knee) remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start camp, with second-year linebacker Jack Kiser remaining out of practice after sustaining a knee injury in Day 1 practice.
