PERSONAL
• In an effort to gain weight after moving to the offensive line, consumed a protein shake daily of seven scrambled eggs, a tub of cottage cheese, quick grits, peanut butter, bananas and gatorade while in college "I didn't have time to eat the full carbohydrates and proteins I needed. My friend had a Nutribullet, so I would scramble seven eggs, a big tub of cottage cheese, quick grits, then peanut butter and banana and Gatorade. I would throw it all in and plug my nose. I'd gag sometimes, but that's what you have to do."
• Studied in South Africa during the spring of 2019, where he served as a computer lab tutor for children ages kindergarten-seventh grade at Seyisi Primary School (New Brighton, South Africa)
• Volunteered with Catholic Charities' Meals on Wheels in fall of 2018 in nearby St. Joseph, Minn. and served as an after-school tutor for a sixth-grade student at All Saints Academy
• Volunteered at Newman, the Roman Catholic parish at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Ecumenical Religious Center, in 2017 and 2018 when visiting his grandmother during breaks in the academic year
• Majored in pyschology and has an interest in sports psychology and mental skills training
