Was named second-team All-SEC as a sophomore when he started all 13 games and posted 38 tackles, five tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, two INTs and two forced fumbles.
Made five starts and appeared in 11 games in 2017 earning freshman All-SEC honors. He registered 22 tackles and four INTs (two of which he returned for TDs.

Of course, everyone knows how athletic he is and how good he is on the field, but he is also very good mentally, and he knows the game of football. Of course, I am pushing for him. I played two years with him in college, and I'm looking forward to hopefully suiting up with him again. I am pushing for him a lot."
Said that the CB he tries to emulate most is Patrick Peterson. "He's one of my favorites," Henderson said of Peterson. "...Not only on the field but off the field he's a great person. On the field, he's very physical. He's athletic. He finds the ball, he gets the ball."

As a junior in high school, he played strictly running back, but decided a move to cornerback as a senior would be more promising for his future.
